Building owners hold seminar on compliance

The Building Owners and Managers Association is offering a seminar on "Complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act" Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 300 Light St. in Baltimore. Registration information is available from the BOMA at 752-3318.

College offers course on buying, selling home

"Buying and Selling a Home" is among the non-credit money management courses being offered by Essex Community College this fall.

The course covers the details of contracts, financing, deeds, laws and settlements. It is taught on five consecutive Thursdays, beginning this week, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Russett development to have formal opening

ANNE ARUNDEL

Russett, a new community in Anne Arundel County, will hold its formal opening at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The project near Route 198 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway will have 3,000 detached houses, town houses, condominiums and apartments.
