Baltimore City

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Michael Hunt, of the 2700 block of Fenwick Ave., reported that someone entered his boat while it was being stored on the side of his house and stole fishing and navigation equipment. Police said the property was valued at more than $3,000 and that the theft occurred between Tuesday night and yesterday morning.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Argonne Drive reported that someone broke into his home yesterday and stole a VCR valued at more than $200. Police said entry was gained by forcing a front door.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police today are seeking a 19-year-old woman in the theft of $150 from Floretta Clark, of the 4400 block of Woodlea Ave. Clark reported that the money was taken from a purse in her bedroom by a woman she knows.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Dana Rosenstein, of the 2900 block of Montebello Terrace, reported that someone entered onto his enclosed porch and stole three antique traveling trunks. Rosenstein told police the property was valued at more than $900.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police reported a man armed with a handgun entered the 7-Eleven convenience store in the 200 block of W. 28th St. at Remington Avenue around 9:30 p.m. yesterday and ordered a clerk to give him money from the cash register. Police said the gunman escaped with more than $100.

ASSAULT: Northern District -- Robert Curry, 36, of the 1800 block of Pentridge Road, reported he was walking in the 700 block of E. 33rd St. around 10 p.m. Tuesday when he was attacked by two men. Police said one of the men was carrying an umbrella which he used to strike Curry in the face. Police said Curry sustained a cut lip but refused medical treatment.

THEFT: Northern District -- Leslie Combs, of the 3500 block of Buena Vista Ave., reported that someone entered the front porch of her home and removed several potted plants. Police said the plants were valued at more than $150.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2300 block of Lauretta Ave. reported that someone broke into her home and stole a VCR valued at more than $300. Police said entry was gained by forcing the front door.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Terrel Lucas, of the 1500 block of N. Payson St., reported he was near his home Tuesday night when he was accosted by a man armed with a .22-caliber handgun who robbed him of $3, a beeper and a pack of cigarettes. The gunman drove off in a small red car.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that someone broke into a city-owned dwelling in the 1700 block of W. Lexington St. and stole a toilet and a sink. Police said the property was valued at nearly $1,200 and that entry was gained by forcing the rear door.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police said property valued at more than $400 was stolen from a dwelling in the 900 block of N. Calhoun St. after someone gained entry by forcing the front door. Police said the burglar escaped with a microwave oven, telephone, wall clock and a chicken.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Cindy Jones, of the 3900 block of Greenmount Ave., reported she was in the 1600 block of Retreat St. yesterday afternoon when she was grabbed from behind by a man who robbed her of nearly $200. Police said the man held Jones in a choke hold. Police said she was not injured.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 900 block of DeSoto Road reported that someone broke into his home Tuesday night and stole property valued at $400.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Jerome Howard, of the 600 block of Yale Ave., told police he was in the first block of N. Calverton Road Tuesday night when he was accosted by two men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed him of his money and property and fled. Police said the men escaped with cash and personal items of unknown value.

BURGLARY: Southwestern District -- Police reported that property valued at more than $2,000 was stolen from a dwelling in the 400 block of S. Bentalou St. after someone gained entry by opening a first-floor window. Police said the break-in occurred yesterday between 2 and 7 a.m.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Andrew Reed, of the 1500 block of Braddish Ave., told police he was in the 3000 block of W. North Ave. yesterday afternoon when he was accosted by a man armed with a handgun who demanded his money. Reed told police he gave more than $100 to the gunman, who escaped on foot.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- William Heggie, of the 1200 block of N. Patterson Park Ave., reported he was at the Mondawmin Mall yesterday afternoon when he was accosted by a man who robbed him of his cash while pressing a hard object in his back. Police said the amount of money taken by the robber was not known.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Groveland Ave. told police that someone broke into her home through the living room window and stole a cassette deck and a stereo receiver. Police said the property was valued at nearly $1,100.
