Realtors Elect Leader

WESTMINSTER — The Carroll County Association of Realtors has elected Denise Hayes,an agent with Long & Foster in the city, as president.

Hayes willbe installed Friday at the organization's annual dinner-dance at Martin's.

She began her real estate career in 1976 with Zelma B. Ensor RealEstate.

She joined the Russell T. Baker firm in 1982, taking a management position her last four years there before transferring to Long & Foster.

Hayes was nominated for Realtor of the Year in 1989.

She is a graduate of the Realtors Institute and will be awarded the designation of Certified Residential Specialist in November.

Shealso is completing requirements for the Certified Residential Brokerdesignation.

Hayes previously has served the association as television public affairs panelist in 1988, chairwoman of the grievance committee for five years, board of directors member for five years, secretary and vice president.
