Baltimore City

BURGLARY: Southern District -- Police reported that two men broke into a house in the 1500 block of S. Stricker St. and stole three shotguns and a semi-automatic rifle. Police said all the weapons were loaded when stolen yesterday afternoon and had been left sitting inside the house near the front door. Police said the men were seen entering the house with a key between 1 and 5 p.m. Later, the same men were seen leaving the house carrying something wrapped in a bundle. Taken was an AK-47 assault rifle, a 12-gauge shotgun, a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun, and a Mossberg semi-automatic shotgun. The owner, who recently moved into the house and whose name was not revealed, reported the weapons were part of a collection. Police said the value of the weapons was not known.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Calvin Stokes, of the 600 block of N. Arlington Ave., reported he was riding his motor scooter in the 1200 block of Harlem Ave. late Sunday night when he was stopped by a man known to him who struck him with a length of pipe and robbed him of the vehicle. Police said Stokes was not seriously injured. The scooter was valued at nearly $2,000.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 2400 block of Eutaw Place reported that someone broke into his home through the front door and stole a VCR and a mountain bicycle. Police said the property was valued at nearly $900.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that property valued at more than $1,000 was stolen from a dwelling in the 2600 block of Edmondson Ave. after someone gained entry through a rear window. Police said the intruder escaped with $600, a VCR and a 19-inch television set.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Carter Johnson, of the 2000 block of Division St., reported he was robbed of his wallet and $45 around 8 p.m. yesterday when a man knocked him to the pavement as he walked in the 500 block of Bloom St.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Byrd St. reported that someone broke into a dwelling in the 1100 block of Woodyear St. that is undergoing renovation and stole property valued at more than $1,600. Police said the burglar made off with 12 windows, several sashes, faucets, copper pipes and two sinks.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police reported that Curtis Kinsler, of the 3600 block of Laguna Court in Randallstown, was in the 1600 block of N. Gilmor St. yesterday afternoon when he was accosted by two men, one armed with a handgun, who robbed him of his jewelry. Police said the jewelry was valued at more than $500.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Kenneth Lewis, of the 800 block of Druid Park Lake Drive, reported he was walking in the 2400 block of Reisterstown Road Monday when he was accosted by two young males who robbed him of $8 and a bottle of medicine.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1300 block of W. North Ave. reported that someone forcibly entered her home through a rear door yesterday and stole more than $1,400 in cash and checks.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Employees of Johnny's Used Cars in the 4800 block of Harford Road reported that someone entered onto their lot and removed two tires and rims from a 1983 Nissan.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2800 block of Parkview Terrace reported that someone gained entry into his home Monday with a key and stole several coins, a VCR, camera and a 55mm lens. Police said the property was valued at more than $1,200.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Vincent Torain, of the 5100 block of Darien Road, told police he was in the 5200 block of Cedgate Road on Monday afternoon when he was stopped by three men, one armed with a handgun, who forced him to give up his property. Police said the men robbed Torain of gold jewelry valued at $800 and escaped.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Jamell Marshall, of the 4500 block of Manorview Road, reported that in front of his home early yesterday he was accosted by two men, one armed with an unknown caliber handgun, who robbed him of cash and property, all valued at nearly $200.

SHOOTING: Southwestern District -- Police today were seeking the person who shot Douglas Viel, of the 2200 block of Rosalind Ave., in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. Police said Viel was found lying on the ground and bleeding from a gunshot wound to the head. He was taken by ambulance to University of Maryland Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition today.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- Police reported a deliveryman for Pizza Haven in the 900 block of Leeds Ave. was making a food delivery in the 600 block of S. Warwick Ave. yesterday when he was stopped by a man armed with a handgun who robbed him of more than $45 and the pizza.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A resident of the 3900 block of Frisby St. reported that someone broke into her home through an unlocked door and stole several pieces of jewelry and a bicycle. Police said the property was valued at more than $1,400.
