Polkamotion by the Ocean

Polkamotion by the Ocean continues through today at the Convention Center, 40th Street and Coastal Highway. The annual event, which began Thursday, features dancing to lively polka bands and dance demonstrations. Visitors can also sample ethnic foods and beverages. Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and admission prices are $8 and $9. Call 289-8311.

Looking for a little culture? Don't miss works by two artists -- Richard Bailey of Smyrna, Del., and Bernard Felch of Landenberg, Pa. -- on display at the Rehoboth Art League in Rehoboth Beach, Del., through September. Mr. Bailey, a sculptor, uses different kinds of stone, including exotic stones from other countries. Mr. Felch is a multimedia artist, whose works include paintings, ceramics and carving. Celebrate Snow Hill's heritage Saturday and next Sunday, as the town presents its sixth annual Antique Show and Sale. The show will be held at the Snow Hill Middle School from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. next Sunday. Also on Sunday, there will be a house tour from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., featuring five homes built in Snow Hill, which is the county seat of Worcester County, between 1759 and 1958. Vintage train cars will take passengers back and forth from Berlin to Snow Hill. Train ride prices are $12 for adults, $8 for children. Call 632-3110.
