Vanreuth Top Remodeler

Mark VanReuth of Brightview Builders Inc. in Annapolis has recently been nominated for the Remodeler of the Year Award.

The contest, sponsored by the Home Builders Association of Maryland, will place VanReuth in competition with six other remodelers throughout the state. The award is based on professionalism, quality of construction and customer service.

A construction business professional for 14 years, VanReuth is a member of the Remodelers Council.

Christopher L. Beard and Barbara A. Light recently announced the formation ofthe law firm of Beard and Light.

Beard has maintained a general law practice since 1977 and is president-elect of the Anne Arundel County Bar Association.

Light was formerly an assistant county attorney for Anne Arundel County, representing the Department of Social Services.

The new law firm will be based in Annapolis.


Alan D. Wycherley, account representative for the MetropolitanLife Insurance office in Annapolis, was recently honored for outstanding sales and service achievement at the company's leaders conference at Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tenn.

Wycherley's 1990 record placed him among the top 10 percent of all account and sales representatives withing the company.

In addition to being the Annapolis Branch 1990 Account Executive of the Year, Wycherley also earned the Metropolitan 1990 Pace Setter and Sales Leadership Awards. He is also a provisional member of the Million Dollar Round Table, a prestigious industry-recognized association.

Wycherley and his wife and two children reside in Annapolis.

In other Metropolitan Life news, David Gary has been appointed associate manager of the Annapolis branch, located at Heritage Office Center on Riva Road.

Gary, who joined Metlife in 1989, recently returned from the leadership conference in Nashville. His 1990 achievements placed him among the company's top 10 percent of account representatives.

Gary resides with his wife in Annapolis.
