Resident junior hunting licenses

Requirements: Under 16 years of age, hunter safety certificate and parental permission.

Basic resident junior license: For all legal game except deer and waterfowl. Individual deer stamps and Maryland waterfowl stamps required, but federal waterfowl stamp is not necessary -- $6.50.

Consolidated resident junior license: For all legal game, including deer with regular firearms, muzzleloader and bow. Maryland waterfowl stamp required, but federal stamp is not necessary -- $15.50.

Resident hunting licenses

Requirements: 16 through 64 years of age, hunter safety certificate required unless one can prove to have been licensed to hunt before July 1, 1977 or legally exempt.

Basic resident license: For all legal game except deer and waterfowl. Individual deer stamps and federal and Maryland waterfowl stamps may be purchased -- $15.50.

Consolidated resident license: For all legal game, including deer with regular firearms, muzzleloader and bow. Waterfowl stamps are required -- $24.50.

Senior resident licenses

Requirements: 65 years of age or older, hunter safety certificate required unless one can prove to have been licensed to hunt before July 1, 1977 or legally exempt.

Resident consolidated annual license: For all legal game,

including deer with regular firearms, muzzleloader and bow. Federal waterfowl stamp must be purchased to hunt waterfowl -- $1.25.

Senior consolidated lifetime license: For all legal game, including deer with regular firearms, muzzleloader and bow. Valid until death, but a federal waterfowl stamp must be purchased annually to hunt waterfowl -- $12.50.

Non-resident basic hunting license

Requirements: Valid driver's license, voter registration card or hunting license from state of residence. Those under 16 must also have written permission from parents or guardian.

Application: For all legal game except deer during the bow and muzzleloader seasons and waterfowl. Bow and black powder stamps as well as federal and Maryland waterfowl stamps must be purchased -- $120.50, except for residents of Delaware ($83), Pennsylvania ($83), Virginia ($120) and West Virginia ($85).

Non-resident 3-day waterfowl and small game license (all ages)

For waterfowl and small game, excluding deer and turkey. Limited to 3 consecutive legal hunting days. Federal and Maryland waterfowl stamps required to hunt waterfowl -- $35.

Regulated shooting area license

For pen-reared quail, pheasants, chukar partridge, turkeys and mallard ducks on a regulated shooting area -- $3.50.

STAMPS

Maryland migratory waterfowl stamp, $6; federal migratory bird hunting and conservation stamp, $15; deer stamp, $9.50; bow stamp (deer season), $3.50; black powder/muzzleloader stamp, $3.50; resident second deer stamp (bow, firearms, muzzleloader), $5 each per season; non-resident second deer stamp (bow, firearms, muzzleloader), $10 each per season.
