P.G. youth, 15, charged as adult in Howard rape

September 08, 1991

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested by the Howard County police and charged as an adult with the rape of a jogger near Centennial Park in April.

Antonio Lee Perry of Capitol Heights in Prince George's County was charged Friday with second-degree rape and related offenses, police said. The arrest stemmed from an attack April 26 in which a 25-year-old woman was dragged into a wooded area and assaulted.

Bail for the youth was set at $1 million.

The woman told police she was jogging along a footpath when she was grabbed from behind by a man who hit her on the head. After the man dragged her into the woods, he struck her again and raped her, police said. She was treated for cuts and bruises at Howard County General Hospital, police said.
