County Executive Robert R. Neall will be the keynote speaker at the kickoff meeting of the newly formed North County Republican Club.
The dinner meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m., Sept. 12, at Berger's Colonial Inn. Interim club president is Doug Arnold.
The proposed charter for the organization lists three goals: education and making people aware of the ideals and philosophy of the Republican Party; voter registration and building GOP registration; and recruiting candidates to run for local offices.
The club will meeton the third Thursday of each month. The cost of the dinner meeting is $10 and includes gratuity. Those interested in attending, call Arnold at 437-3215.
