State police seized an estimated $100,000 worth of cocaine and arrested two men during a traffic stop yesterday on Interstate 95 in Cecil County.
According to police, Carroll Eugene Outen, 25, and William Vernon Barber, 45, both of Charlotte, N.C., were driving south on I-95 when they were pulled over at 1:58 p.m. for speeding. A search of the vehicle yielded 1,087 grams of cocaine.
Both men were charged with one count each of smuggling, possession of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute cocaine. They were being held at the Cecil County Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bond.
