McCormick & Co. Inc. named Marlene L. McKone manager-quality and regulatory compliance; John H. Hastings lead systems analyst; Christina T. K. Black & Decker, U.S. Power Tools Group, appointed Joseph Galli vice president of sales and marketing.

Chick-fil-A, a national fast-food chain, named Michael Herrick operator of its Franklin Park restaurant.

The Chimes Inc., a Baltimore-based non-profit agency dedicated to helping people with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities, named Albert Bussone vice president, operations; Cecil S. Fox vice president, administration; Betty Ann Rigney vice president, clinical services; David Spinella director of residential services; Kathleen Sarnecki director of day habilitation/senior living services; and Thomas Barlow director of quality assurance.

Creative Sign & Screen, a Timonium-based custom design and screen printing firm, named Gladys Scesney officer and marketing manager. The company recently moved from Cockeysville to 2240 Greenspring Drive.

The University of Maryland at Baltimore named Ernest F. Moreland vice president for academic affairs.
