Coach's comments: "The attitudes have been great and we have some good senior leadership. We are working hard on fundamentals, the enthusiasm is up and we're just going to go out andhave fun."

The Carroll County Sun's outlook: Williams inherits a 1-9 team with plenty of senior leadership. He is going back to the basics this year and is hoping his team will respond. The Cougars are an experienced team with a new coach and a new attitude. How well theycan adjust to the new coach, who replaces longtime Catoctin head coach Hal Grau, will tell a lot. Williams will try to build a new foundation starting from the ground up at the junior varsity level, but theCougars still appear to be a few years away from serious contention in the MVAL.
