Coach's comments: "We're looking very good. We're way ahead of last year at this point. There has beena lot of healthy competition in camp with some hard hitting. Smithburg will be strong along with Walkersville and North Hagerstown."

The Carroll County Sun's outlook: North Hagerstown is another team in the league that has to be considered among favorites to win the league title. Cross is pleased with the team's enthusiasm and depth. He said this year's team is ahead of schedule at this time compared to last year's team, which tied Walkersville for first place. Returning quarterback Danny Cunningham will play a key role in the team's success and he has the support to take this team a long way. On paper, this team looks like it has the most depth and experience at key positions in the MVAL.
