Donations being sought

Give a little pocket change to help Jerry Lewis' kids. Today and tomorrow, members of the Eastern Shore Branch of the National Association of Letter Carriers will be on the boardwalk at Ninth and 10th streets and south of Wicomico Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. collecting for Muscular Dystrophy. About 15 people, wearing letter carrier T-shirts and caps, have volunteered to help.

Free laser light show slated

Catch the free laser light show at 9 tonight on the beach between Caroline and North Division streets. Lasers will bounce from mirrors, make designs and move in the sky to music. Part of the Labor Day Weekend Aerobatic Stunt Show, the laser light show can be seen as far south as the pier and as far north as Second Street.

Fund-raiser set for Coastal Hospice

Friends of Coastal Hospice will host a fund-raiser at the Carousel Hotel, 118th Street and Coastal Highway tomorrow. Comedian Tubby Boots, known for his adult humor, has promised to "go legit" and provide family entertainment at the two shows at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the hospice organization in Worcester, Wicomico and Somerset counties. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or by calling 742-8732.
