Constance Nines

Constance Nines, a retired supervisor of operators for the Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co. who lived in Severn, died Tuesday at the Anne Arundel Medical Center after a stroke.

Services for Mrs. Nines will be held at 1 p.m. tomorrow at the Howard H. Hubbard Funeral Home, 4107 Wilkens Ave.

She retired about four years ago after working for the phone company in Baltimore for about 25 years.

The former Constance White was a native of Baltimore. Her husband, Carl Nines, a retired sheet metal worker, died in 1988.

A member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the auxiliary of the Baltimore Forest of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, she did volunteer work for the Red Cross in Annapolis after her retirement.

Her survivors include many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
