Teen sought in fatal stabbing of West Baltimore man, 39

City police today continued to search for a 17-year-old West Baltimore youth charged in the stabbing death of a 39-year-old man during a neighborhood dispute in the 900 block of N. Rosedale St. Tuesday night.

Darlene Lawson, 30, of the 900 block of N. Rosedale St., was arrested late Tuesday night and charged with first-degree murder, police said. Police allege that Lawson provided the murder weapon, a large kitchen knife, which was recovered near the scene. She was being held without bail at the Women's Detention Center pending a bail review hearing today in Eastside District Court.

Police have issued a warrant charging Rodney Anderson, of the 1000 block of N. Ellamont St., with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Alonzo Russell Bennett, of the 2000 block of Rayner Ave.

Police said anyone knowing Anderson's whereabouts is urged to call the homicide squad at 396-2100, or the Southwestern District at 396-2488.
