How would you describe your taste in clothing?
I think avant-garde, with bold colors and good lines. I used to model in college, so I'm not afraid to try new looks. I like clothes that suit my personal style, and I will go anywhere to find them.
What's the newest thing in your closet?
Three pairs of shoes I bought on sale at Macy's. I love shoes and must have 100 pairs in my closet. I love all kinds of shoes -- heels because they make me feel powerful, and flats because they are comfortable.
What's the oldest thing in your closet?
An authentic, yellow and blue, silk boxing robe from the 1949 Golden Gloves Championship. I found it in an antique store, and I had to have it because I'm such a boxing fan. The last time I wore it was when I had a party to watch the Mike Tyson fight on television. I put on the robe, came out and did my "Rocky" imitation.
Do you have a true standby that you wear to feel good?
Anything black and white. That way I don't have to worry about coordinating colors. Half of what I have in my closet is black and white.
What have you held on to for sentimental reasons?
An old cap with a white brim that I wore to keep the sun off my head while traveling around Israel when I was 15. It still has banana stains on it, but I can't bear to throw it away. And I still have my bell-bottom jeans.
What is your wardrobe weakness?
AShoes and earrings. One of my favorite places to find earrings is the Fells Point Festival.
What's the most expensive item in your closet?
A suit I bought in Paris. It's classic and elegant, and I often wear it to meet important clients.
What's the least expensive item in your closet?
A matching set of red plastic earrings, bracelet and necklace, purchased for the grand total of 99 cents. My boyfriend bought them for me at the "99 Cents" store in Rehoboth Beach.
What's the wildest outfit you ever bought?
bought hot pink suede, fringed boots in Italy. I have worn them to parties, but that's about it. Although working in the advertising industry allows me to have a liberal dress code, the boots are a little too wild for meeting clients.
What are your favorite accessories?
Earrings. I like BIG earrings. I have hoops, dangles, fishes, bananas. . . . My favorites are lightning bolts that I bought in Greece. They go down to my shoulders, and I love them. However, I can't have them on too long because they are so heavy that they hurt my ears.
