Messoris, 86, diedThursday at North Arundel Hospital in Glen Burnie, after a brief illness.

Born in Pennsylvania, Messoris moved to Glen Burnie from New York31 years ago where she was a homemaker. Her interests included bingoand family activities.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Messoris of Glen Burnie; a sister, Mary M. Honohan or Bronx, N.Y.; five children; Pauline T. Miller, Joseph P. Messoris, Robert S. Messoris and Eileen G. Dasch of Glen Burnie and Theresa E. Wilson of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
