17-year-old Reports Being Raped At Party

A 17-year-old girl told police she was raped by two men during a party at a Crownsville home.

Police said the girl had gone to a bedroom at a home in the 1400 block of Severn Chapel Road Thursday when two men came in and raped her.

William Norris Herrold III, 24, of the 1400 block Severn Chapel Road and James Carl Gay, 21, of the 1500 block Severn Chapel Road, were charged with second-degree rape.

THREE CHARGED WITH COCAINE POSSESSION

County police charged three people with possession of cocaine Thursday night during a drug operation in South County.

Gerald L. Thompson, 30, of the 1400 block of Shady Rest Road; Derek D. Jackson,23, of the 4500 block Bishopmill Drive, both of Upper Marlboro; and Darryl R. Coates, 30, of the 1200 block Marlboro Road in Lothian, allwere charged after police made undercover buys of the drug at Wayson's Corner on Route 408.
