Kids' Convention to offer education, entertainment

The two-day Kids' Convention at the Towson Center tomorrow and Sunday includes creative learning experiences in art, science and music along with entertainment for the entire family. Other activities include a Youth Speakout, in which teens 15-18 can voice their opinions on a variety of subjects. Admission is $2 per person (children under 3 are free) or $5 per family. SATURDAY

10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. -- Maryland Sings, Grand Opening

12:15 p.m. -- Tom Dougherty (clown/juggler)

1 p.m. -- Bob Devlin (one-man band)

2 p.m. -- Kinderman (dances with kids)

3 p.m. -- Tom Dougherty

4 p.m. -- Spinny Johnson (Harlem Globetrotter)

VTC 5 p.m. -- Kan Kouran (West African dance company)

7 p.m. -- Lost Angels (rock and roll band)

SUNDAY

Noon -- Dinosaur Rock

1 p.m. -- Kinderman

2 p.m. -- John Ekin (magician)

3 p.m. -- Spinny Johnson

4 p.m. -- Mambo Combo (Latin American/Caribbean music)
