Correction

The "Ask Beth" column in Sunday's editions of The Sun gave incorrect information about curing sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). All STDs caused by bacteria can be cured by the use of antibiotics. The viral STDs (herpes simplex virus, genital warts and HIV/AIDS) are, at this point, incurable, although symptoms of the first two diseases can be treated successfully.
