Hospital guard attacked after work

An article Tuesday about Edward V. Grinevicius Jr., a Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center security supervisor who was attacked Monday in the hospital parking lot, wrongly reported that he lived in the 3600 block of Handel Court, Pasadena. Mr. Grinevicius lives at another location in Pasadena.

A security supervisor at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center was in stable condition yesterday after two men with baseball bats attacked him on the parking lot of the state hospital in Jessup, state police in Howard County reported.

Edward V. Grinevicius Jr., 45, of 3642 Handel Court, Pasadena, was attacked about 12:30 a.m. as he was getting into his car to go home.

Mr. Grinevicius was admitted to Greater Laurel/Beltsville Hospital with fractures, cuts and bruises.
