Accomplishments: His paintings have won blue ribbons in exhibits and shows; he arranged for CCC's first art exhibit in fall 1990; acted as liaison between CCC and Arts Council to establish Kid's College; initiated CCC Art Club; has judged various art shows, including Wine Festival Poster Contest

Recipient's comments: "I was totally dumbfounded. It was announced in a faculty-staff meeting and then I heard my name and award. I had not tried for the award, but since it fell in my lap, I'm elated. I'm very pleased about it."
