Super Thing strongly favored to win

August 09, 1991|By Marty McGee

FORT WASHINGTON -- Super Thing, unbeaten in eight career starts, heads the second and stronger of two divisions of the Kentucky Standardbred Sales Trot tonight at Rosecroft Raceway.

The 2-year-old filly should rule a heavy favorite in the $96,350 eighth race. The $95,100 first division is carded as the sixth race.

The races are sponsored by the Kentucky Standardbred Sales Company, which also sponsors similar races for juvenile pacers. Those races, worth an estimated $250,000 combined, will be held on Sept. 7, same night as the Messenger Pace.
