Marley Park Church of the Nazarene will present a free concert of Tim Zimmerman and the Kings Brass at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the church, 7741 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. in Glen Burnie.
The instrumental gospel group features three trumpets, three trombones, a tuba, and keyboards.
The ensemble is made up of professional musicians from around thecountry who use their instruments to lead others in praise of Jesus Christ.
26 MUSEUMS GET MONEY
The Historical and Cultural Museum Assistance Program, a new program of the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, has completed its first grants cycle, making awards totaling $77,540 to 26 museums throughout Maryland.
The program, which began in 1991, assists historical and cultural museums by offering grants, technical assistance and other services.
Each application is evaluated on the basis of the merits of the project and its potential to stimulate increased self-sufficiency, quality and tourism.
In Anne Arundel County, grants were awarded to Londontown Publik House, $1,640; Ann Arrundell County Historical Society, $2,500; and Historic Annapolis Inc., $3,000.
The program's next grant application deadline is March 1992.

11 PICKED FOR EDFC
County Executive Robert R. Neall has appointed 11 members of the business community to serve on the Economic Development Finance Committee (EDFC).
Members are volunteers from different business disciplines with a general knowledge of the business/finance arena. They serve as advisers to the Office of Economic Development (OED), reviewing applications for loan OED programs.
Appointed for two-year terms are: William R. McNeil, Westinghouse Electronics Systems Group; James Triebwasser, Marlene Prendergast & Associates; E. Michael Meyers, Highspire Yacht Service Inc.; James Russell, Severn Graphics Inc.; John Hersman, Anchor Capital Group; and Joseph Johnson, Crownsville, Citizens' Representative.
Appointed for three-year terms are: Glen Hall, Maryland National Bank; M. Teri Ranieri, Dean Witter Reynolds Inc.; Lou Hyatt, Hyatt Realtors Inc.; Earl DeMaris, Perkins-DeMaris Inc.; and Anthony Lombardo, C.W. Amos & Co.
Under the Incentive Fund Program, the OED administers direct loan and loan guarantees to assist county businesses in relocation, expansion and start-up.
