Baltimore City

ARSON: Southwestern District -- Police reported that a fire early today in an apartment in the 200 block of Diener Place was deliberately set. Police said the fire was reported at 2:27 a.m. and caused extensive damage to a second-floor apartment. No injuries were reported. Details of the incident were not immediately available.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Police reported that several pieces of clothing were stolen from a warehouse in the 300 block of N. Gay St. that is used by the city public school system to store student uniforms. Police said entry was gained by forcing open a door and that the value of the clothing was not immediately known.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Eugenia Dawson, of the 9800 block of Whiskey Run Road in Laurel, Howard County, reported that someone broke into her 1986 Nissan while it was parked in the 900 block of E. Pratt St. over the weekend and stole a leather carrying bag and a leather jacket. Police said the property was valued at $500.

ARREST: Southeastern District -- Police arrested a 17-year-old youth and were holding him at the station pending charges as an adult after he allegedly pointed a handgun at Ronald Miller, of the 300 block of S. Highland Ave., during an incident near Miller's home early yesterday.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into the Signet Bank in the 2000 block of E. Monument St. over the weekend and stole a computer monitor and keyboard. Police said the value of the property was not immediately known and that entry into the building was gained by breaking a window.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Jesse Beales, of the 2300 block of Eastern Ave., reported that a man who was visiting him left and took with him a VCR and a cable TV control box. Beales told police the property was valued at nearly $400.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Dorsey Smith, of the 400 block of Liberty Road, reported that someone broke into her boat while it was docked at a marina off the 2700 block of Boston St. and stole property valued at more than $600. Police said the thief escaped with a radio, battery chargers and several tools. Police said the theft occurred Saturday night.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Southeastern District -- Police arrested two men and were holding them at the station pending charges that they broke into a car that was parked in the 100 block of N. Chester St. and stole property valued at $600. Salina Fowler, of the 2100 block of E. Fayette St., told police the men stole several tools and other personal items.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Eileen Aiken, of the 7000 block of Concord Road in Pikesville, Baltimore County, reported that some broke into her parked car in the 2500 block of Boston St. over the weekend and stole stereo radio equipment valued at $700.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Police reported that someone broke into a car parked in the 200 block of S. President St. and stole two stereo cassette players. Police said the property was owned by Nancy Reass, an out-of-town resident, and was valued at $200.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Charles Moyer, of the 200 block of S. Broadway, reported he was walking near his home yesterday afternoon when he was attacked by a woman who pushed him to the ground and robbed him of $15. Later, police arrested a woman suspect in connection with the robbery and were holding her at the women's detention center at the Central District station pending charges.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 200 block of S. Eaton St. reported that someone forcibly entered her home over the weekend and stole cash and personal items. Police said the property was valued at more than $1,700 and that entry was gained by forcing a back door.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- Charles Miller, of the 1800 block of E. 33rd St., reported he was in the 500 block of N. Gay St. Friday night when he was accosted by a man with a handgun who demanded his money and jewelry. Police said the gunman escaped with $80, and a gold ring with an engraving of Jesus.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Harry Undy, an out-of-town resident, reported that someone broke into his car while the vehicle was parked in the 1200 block of Lancaster St. and stole property valued at $200. Police said entry was gained by breaking a window.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Donald Kidd, of the 1800 block of E. 30th St., reported that someone stole his bike when he parked it and left it unattended in the 2500 block of Garrett Ave. Police said the bike was valued at more than $100.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Daniel Fleisher, of the 3200 block of Brendan Ave., reported that someone broke into his car while it was parked near his home and stole stereo radio equipment valued at more than $600. Police said entry was gained by forcing open a door.
