Four Charged With Making Cocaine

Four Glen Burnie residents have been charged with manufacturing cocaine after police served a search warrant at their home, county policesaid.

Charles Edward Boyd Jr., 26, of the 7800 block Southampton Drive and Trina Yvette Downs, 24, of the same address, were also charged with possession of cocaine.

Police said officers served the warrant Wednesday and seized 3.5 grams of cocaine, a handgun and $40 in cash.

In another case, police served a warrant early yesterday morning at an apartment in the 100 block of Faywood Court in Glen Burnie.

During that raid, police confiscated 6 grams of cocaine with a street value of $600. The crack-cocaine was stored in 11 plastic bags. Police also seized $65.

Charged with manufacturing cocaine and possession of cocaine were SammyGaribay, 20, of the 100 block Faywood Court; Denise Catherine Gaskin, 33, of the same address; a 15-year-old boy from New York and a 16-year-old from New York.


A Severna Park man was charged with possession of a stun gun after police confiscated it in Freetown Village on Tuesday, county police.

Jeffrey Allen Barnes, 23, of the 100 block Lockleven Drive, was arrested afterpolice stopped his car at about 11:15 p.m. because he ran a stop sign.

Police asked to search the car and they found the gun under theseat.

400 block of Oakton Road: July 29, entry gained through window. Motor bike taken. Loss: $1,000.


8100 block of Arminger Drive: July 23, entry gained through door. Appliances taken. Loss: $1,000.

8800 block of Fort Smallwood Road: July 30, entry gained through the door. Money taken. Loss: $353.

8220 Ritchie Highway: July 31, entry gained through the door. Unknown property taken.

700 block of 214th Street: July 26, entry gained through the door. Unknown property taken.
