Marine Sgt. Robert P. Gordon, a 1982 graduate of C. Milton Wright High School, has returned from deployment to the Middle East in supportof Operation Desert Storm while serving with 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, N.C.


Navy Petty Officer 1st Class Tammy L. Hager, of Fallston, has returned from deployment to Guam in support of Operation Desert Storm while serving with Cargo Handling Battalion-11, Jacksonville, Fla.

She joined the Navy Reserve in December 1981.


Navy Airman Apprentice Sandra M. Hasener, daughter of Joseph M. and Jackquline Hasener of Kingsville, recently reported for duty with Fleet Composite Squadron-Six, Naval Air Station, Norfolk, Va.

The 1990 graduate of the Catholic High School, Baltimore, joined the Navyin July 1990.


Lt. Col. Carl H. Freeman has graduated from the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pa.

The 10-month curriculum of the Army's senior school prepares officers of all the services, as well as civilian officials of the federal government, for top-level command and staff positions with the U.S. armed forces.

Freeman is the son of Billie M. Freeman of Joppa and the brother of Claudia L. Holman of Edgewood.

He is a 1976 graduate of the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.


Coast Guard Fireman Patrick C. Driver, son of Jerome M. and ElizabethA. Driver of Bel Air, has returned from a drug interdiction patrol in the Caribbean aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Alert, homeported in Cape May, N.J.

During the patrol, Driver participated in boardings of U.S. and foreign vessels and four search and rescue operations.

He joined the Coast Guard in September 1990.
