Stewart Wins Scholarship

David Stewart Jr. of Severn is one of 30 Eagle Scouts from across the country who have been selected to receive a $3,000 scholarship provided by an endowment from former Texas Gov. William P. Clements.

Over 1,700 Eagle Scout Scholarship applications were submitted for four scholarship programs. Stewart's selection represents recognition ofhis superb record of accomplishments.

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors and currently registered in the Boy Scouts of America, and have been granted the Eagle Scout Award.
