Three Men Arrested On Drug Charges

County police have charged three people with possession of cocaine after investigators seized 15 grams of the drug from the office of an Annapolis bail bondsman Wednesday.

Royal Jacob Adams, 30, of the 1400 block Middletown Road in Annapolis, Troy Darnell Redding, 24, of the same address, and Damon Dwaine Crowdy, 21, of the 400 block Broadneck Road, were all charged with possession with intent to distributecocaine.

Investigators served a search warrant at Dale Dickerson Bail Bonds in the 1400 block of Middletown Road in Annapolis. They seized the cocaine, which has a street value of $1,750, and some prescription drugs. Police expect one more arrest.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY LEAVES 2 INJURED

Two Glen Burnie residents were injured Wednesday when a gunman tried to rob them outside a 7-Eleven in Glen Burnie, county police said.

Police said the victims were sitting in their pick-up truck in the parking lot of the store on Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard when a man walked up to them and asked if they wanted to buy drugs. When thevictims declined, the man took out a knife and a gun, police said.

As the victims tried to drive away, the gunman jumped into the backof the truck and smashed the back window.

He cut the victims withhis knife, and when the truck stopped, he jumped out and ran down Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard, police said.

No description of the robber was given. The victims refused treatment from paramedics, policesaid.

WOMAN DIES IN VAN ACCIDENT TUESDAY

A Baltimore woman died after the van in which she was a passenger hit a tree in Glen Burnie, county police said.

Blanche Renee Taylor, 22, of the 2500 block Garrett Avenue, was pronounced dead at Maryland Shock Trauma Center Tuesday after the 4 a.m. accident, police said.

Police said Taylor was a passenger in a 1988 Chevy van. When one of the van's tires blew out, the driver lost control of the wheel and hit a tree.

The driver and another passenger were treated and released from North Arundel Hospital.
