This is a weekly summary of selected prime contracts recently awarded by the federal government to companies and other vendors in Maryland.

Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Linthicum won a $51,386,928 contract from the Navy for the production of 24 airborne self-protection jammer basic systems, including technical data for use on the Navy's F/A-18 aircraft.

Martin Marietta Corp. in Glen Burnie won a $19,316,240 contract from the Navy to provide special tools.

Summit Research Corp. in Gaithersburg won an $11,622,002 contract from the Navy to provide tactical information management system and resource management support services.

Litton Systems Inc. in College Park won a $6,044,224 contract from the Navy to provide communications equipment.

Engineering Technologies Associates Inc. in Ellicott City won a $2,639,494 contract from the Army to test and remove underground storage tanks at Fort Myer and Fort McNair.

Scientific Management Associates Inc. in Landover won a $1,538,069 contract from the Navy to provide engineering services.

McDonald and Eudy Printers in Temple Hills won a $190,748 contract from the U.S. Government Printing Office to provide book printing services.
