RiverBlues Festival in Philadelphia

Philadelphia will become blues headquarters Saturday and next Sunday when the annual RiverBlues Festival returns to Penn's Landing.

B.B. King will head the list of some of the nation's best blues artists, including Johnny Winter, Albert Collins, Charles Brown, James Cotton, Buckwheat Zydeco and many others. Styles will range from down-home country blues to Chicago honky-tonk, New Orleans boogie and Texas hard rock. In addition to individual performances there will be workshops, jam sessions, photo exhibits, a BluesCruise on the Delaware River and food concessions.
