2 men rob Glen Burnie fast-food restaurant

July 19, 1991

Two men, one armed with a semiautomatic handgun, robbed a Hardees restaurant in Glen Burnie just after midnight and escaped with an undetermined amount of money, police said.

About 12:30 a.m., two men forced their way into the restaurant as a night manager and another employee left after closing, police said.

The armed bandit ordered the manager to open the safe and then ordered both employees into a walk-in freezer, police said.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction, and the employees reported not having seen a vehicle outside of the restaurant prior to the robbery.
