2 wanderers found safe

Two men suffering from Alzheimer's disease who wandered away from their homes in the Towson and North Point areas overnight were back home today after being found safe in different parts of the Baltimore County.

Police said Charles Lionel Killman, 76, of the first block of Airway Circle near Towson, was spotted about 6:30 a.m. today by an employee at a convenience store at Falls Road and Lake Avenue who recognized him from news photos.

He had last been seen shortly after 9 p.m. yesterday when he left his home and was reported missing by his son.

Meanwhile, North Point District police said Larry Eric Kolstrom, 79, of the 800 block of 50th St. near German Hill Road, was found sleeping in a ditch near Norman Avenue in Dundalk about 8 a.m. today. Kolstrom left his home shortly before 8 p.m. yesterday and was last seen walking on 48th Street toward Holabird Middle School.
