AH: Homemaker, 69

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Beverly Beach resident Gloria Robert Edmonds at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Edgewater.

Mrs. Edmonds, 69, died of cancer Monday at her home.

A 1940 graduate of Central High School in Washington, she was a homemaker and resident of Beverly Beach for the past 24 years.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and of the Swan Research Program, a bird-watching group.

Other interests included outdoors, gardening, cooking and boating on the Chesapeake Bay.

She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Edmonds Jr.; her mother, Luella Lamond of Chevy Chase; a daughter, Arline E. Sparacino of Chicago; a son, Charles A. Edmonds III of Shady Side; and two grandsons.

Memorial donations may be made to the Anne Arundel Medical Center Hospice Program, Franklin and Cathedral streets, Annapolis, 21401.

ROSEMARY PHILLIPS

AH: Homemaker, 50

Prayers will be offered for Glen Burnie resident Rosemary P. Murphy Phillips at 8 p.m. today at Singleton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Phillips, 50, died yesterday at University of Maryland Hospital.

A former resident of Baltimore, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Leon J. Phillips; two sons, Steven E. Phillips and Christopher M. Phillips, both of Glen Burnie; a sister, Joellen Balsamo of Columbia; and her father, Edward F. Murphy of Baltimore.
