The Olde Mill Torpedoes swim team was outnumbered and outscored Saturday, dropping a Central Maryland Swim League matchup to Wynnewood, 279-195.
Despite losing the meet, several of Olde Mill's individuals and relay team members were awarded ribbons.
First-place ribbons in the individual medley were awarded to Missy Haynie (13-14 year olds, 1:08.77), Amy Musk (15-18, 1:10.09) and Jeff Cantrell (15-18, 1:07.40).
Christy Wilson of Olde Mill took second place in the 9-10 IM, followed by teammate Dana Hyden in third. Ted Calabrese took second place in the 9-10 boys IM, while Emily Cundiff and Lael Walker took second and third, respectively, in the 11-12 age bracket.
Brian Keen brought home a third-place ribbon in the 11-12 boys IM and teammates Christal Hornbeck and Lori Wimbrow captured third and fourth, respectively, in the 13-14 age group.
Mark Tschechtelin took third and Mike Cundiff took fourth in the 13-14 boys IM, while Kim Wimbrow placed third in the 15-18 girls IM.
Olde Millswept the 6-and-under freestyle division, with Mandy Wilson finishing first in 26.87 seconds. Finishing second through fourth were Kathryn Kendall, Sara Counts and Vicki Schittone.
Meghan Deen placed second in the 8-and-under girls freestyle, while teammates Wijy Jones and Adam Hyden took second and third among the 6-and-under boys.
Olde Mill's Miles Hull brought home a first-place ribbon in the 8-and-under boys freestyle, followed by teammate Andy Wise in second. Laura Marshall and Serena Wise took third and fourth in the 9-10 girls bracket, and Bobby Deen and Ted Calabrese took second and third among the 9-10 boys.
Christi Schmehling's time of 34.73 earned her first place in the 11-12 girls freestyle, as did Missy Haynie's time of 58.70 in the 13-14 age group. Kerri Sloan and Lori Wimbrow swam in Haynie'swake, finishing third and fourth, respectively.
Mollie Sieradzki took first in the 15-18 girls freestyle with a winning time of 1:03.65, followed by second-place finisher Kim Wimbrow. Keith Carrington rounded out Olde Mill's first-place freestyle finishers with a winning time of 1:02.01 in the 15-18 boys race.
Kathryn Kendall, Mandy Wilson and Sara Counts finished 1-2-3 in the 6-and-under girls backstroke race, while Wijy Jones, Adam Hyden and Joshua Calabrese took 2-3-4 in the 6-and-under boys backstroke.
Matthew Allison turned in a winning time of 23.45 in the 8-and-under boys backstroke, followed by teammate Miles Hull in third (26.73).
Ted Calabrese captured first in the 9-10 boys backstroke with a winning time of 19.74, while teammates Christi Schmehling and Steven Schittone took third and fourth, respectively, in the 11-12 age bracket.
Kerri Sloan took second andTheresa Bartholomew took fourth in the 13-14 girls backstroke, whileMark Tschechtelin and Mike Cundiff took third and fourth among the 13-14 boys.
Amy Musk turned in a winning time of 33.06 in the 15-18girls backstroke, followed by third-place finisher Mollie Sieradzki (34.61). Keith Carrington placed first in the 15-18 boys freestyle with a time of 33.86.
Miles Hull took first place in the 8-and-underboys butterfly, followed by teammates Matthew Allison and Robert Kendall. Laura Marshall and Serena Wise took second and third in the 9-10 girls butterfly, while teammate Bobby Deen took second in the same event among the 9-10 boys.
Christi Schmeling brought home a second-place ribbon in the 11-12 butterfly, while teammate Lael Walker brought home the fourth-place ribbon.

The girls 9-10 relay team of Dana Hyden, Laura Marshall, Christy Wilson and Serena Wise turned in a winning time of 2:46.63. Tony Bartholomew, Ted Calabrese, Bobby Deen and Michael Gray teamed to capture first in 9-10 boys relay.
Theresa Bartholomew, Christal Hornbeck, Kerri Sloan and Lori Wimbrow finished first in the 13-14 girls relay, while Mollie Sieradzki, Kim Wimbrow, Jeff Cantrell and Keith Carrington took first in the 15-18 mixed relay.
