Hundreds of young ballplayers have been playing this week in the annual Harford County youth baseball tournament. The tournament is a double-elimination tournament played at sites throughout the county.
The 13-14 competition included 128 youngsters playing at the Jarrettsville Recreation Complex. The 11-12 included 197 players at the Edgewood Recreation Complex. In 9-10, 128 youngsters played at William S. James Elementary School.
The tournament began July 6 and is scheduled to end this weekend or early this week depending on the outcome of games today.
