8:30 a.m.: Flea market

A community flea market takes place until 2 p.m. at Monkton United Methodist Church, 1930 Monkton Road. Baked goods, hot dogs, soda available. Call 343-0031 or 343-1656.

10 a.m.: Holly folly

Only five more months until Christmas -- better get going. The Timonium Christmas in July Country Craft Fair features more than 140 exhibitors. Until 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Maryland State Fairgrounds. Daily admission: $3 for adults; free for children under 10. Call 931-2215. The craft fair takes place in conjunction with the 27th annual Baltimore County 4-H Fair also at the fairgrounds. A petting barn, draft horse and mule show, tractor and bicycle contests, swine and goat shows

are part of the fun. Call 666-1025.

11 a.m.: Right track

Greenberg's Great Train, Dollhouse & Toy Show takes place until 5 p.m. and from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. tomorrow at the Towson Center, Towson State University. Admission: $5 for adults; free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult. Call 830-2743.

11 a.m.: What's up?

It's "Carrots and Cartoons," a day of activities in conjunction with "That's All Folks!" the animation exhibit at the Baltimore Museum of Art. The day begins with classic cartoons, continues at 1 p.m. with an animation workshop and concludes at 2:30 p.m. when the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra plays "looney tunes." Admission: $3.50 for those over 18; $2.50 for senior citizens over 65 and students; free to members and those 18 and under. Call 396-6314.
