Staab Completes Course

Marine Lance Cpl. Randy J. Staab, son of Joan M. Staab of Bel Air, recently completed the Marines' basic electronics course.

During the 13-week course, conducted at the Marine Corps Communication-Electronics School in Twentynine Palms, Calif., Staab received technical instruction in the fundamental electrical theory common to Marine Corps communication and electronics equipment.

A 1990 graduate of North Harford High School, he joined the Marine Corps in July 1990.

BEL AIR MAN IN NAVY

Navy Seaman Apprentice Ronald L. Britton, son of Kathy M. Gallagher of Bel Air, has completedBasic Cryptologic Technician School.

During the eight-week courseat Naval Technical Training Center Corry Station, Pensacola, Fla., he was taught basic communications security.

A 1990 graduate of BelAir High School, he joined the Navy in August 1990.

ON DUTY IN ITALY

Navy Seaman Recruit Michelle M. Hawkins recently reported for duty at Naval Air Station, Sigonella, Italy.

The daughter of Carolyn and Joseph Hawkins Jr., of Aberdeen, she is a 1990 graduate of Harford Vocational-Technical High School.

HELICOPTER SPECIALIST

Army National Guard Spec. Vicky L. Moore has completed a utility helicopter repair course at Fort Rucker, Daleville, Ala.

The course was designed to provide enlisted personnel with a working knowledge in organizational, direct and general support maintenance in the UH-1 helicopter.

She is the daughter of retired Army Lt. Col. Henry L. Moore of Joppatowne.

The specialist is a 1986 graduate of Joppatowne High School.

POWELL IN GERMANY

Army Pvt. Gilmer C. Powell Jr., a utilities equipment mechanic, has arrived for duty at Leighton Barracks, Germany.

Powell is the sone of Gilmore C. and Jenny L. Powell, of Bel Air.

2 COMPLETE TRAINING

Navy Seaman Recruit Jeffrey G. Omasta, son of Gary and Barbara Wooden of Forest Hill, and Navy Airman Recruit Jeffrey R. Tavel, son of Yvonne I. Bazemoref of Abingdon, have completed recruit training at Recruit Training Center, Orlando, Fla., and San Diego, respectively.

During thier eight-week training cycle, the two recruits studied general military subjects designed to prepare them for further academic and on-the-job training in one of the Navy's 85 basic fields.

Omasta is a 1990 graduate of Edgewood High School, and Tavel is a 1990 graduate of Bel Air High School.
