The Upper Chesapeake Health System will conduct a ground breaking ceremony for Harford County's first and only cancer treatment center from 1 to 2:30 p.m. July 15, at the Riverside Medical Park, Belcamp andBrass Mill roads, in Belcamp.

Guest dignitaries will include Lt. Governor Melvin A. Steinberg, Congresswoman Helen D. Bentley and Harford County Executive Eileen Rehrmann.

Scheduled for completion in October 1991, the 5,000 square-foot Upper Chesapeake Oncology Center will be built and owned by UCHS, but leased to Oncology Services Corp. that will operate and staff the center.
