Baltimore City

THEFT: Central District -- Eric Romulo, of the 200 block of W. Lorraine Ave., reported that while his 1982 Toyota was parked in the 1000 block of Cathedral St., someone broke into the trunk and stole hand and power tools and three stereo speakers, all valued at more than $700.

BURGLARY: Central District -- A resident of the 100 block of E. Mount Royal Ave. reported that someone broke into his apartment through a window and stole a VCR valued at more than $200.

THEFT: Central District -- Charles Linn, a resident of Michigan, reported that his 1991 Ford van was parked in the 300 block of E. Fayette St. Sunday evening when someone broke into it and stole cassette tapes and a radar detector, valued at more than $300, from a box under the front seat.

THEFT: Central District -- Joyce Brown, of the 4000 block of Dorchester Road, reported that someone stole an antique mirror from the hallway of a house she owns in the 1500 block of McCulloh St. Brown told police the mirror was valued at $200 and that she discovered it was missing after several tenants moved out of the building.

THEFT: Central District -- Albaro Espinosa, of the 1100 block of E. Belvedere Ave., said that while his 1980 Mercury was parked in the first block of South St. Sunday and yesterday, someone broke into it and stole property valued at nearly $1,000.

ROBBERY: Central District -- Takaki Camper, of the 2900 block of Baker St., was walking in the 300 block of W. Saratoga St. when a man stole her purse, which contained cash and property valued at more than $500.

THEFT: Central District -- Demetrius Frazier, of the 5200 block of Gwynn Oak Ave., reported that someone stole his $200, 26-inch mountain bike after he parked it in the 400 block of W. Saratoga St. and locked it.

THEFT: Central District -- Deanne Harris, of the 2700 block of Round Road, reported she left the ladies restroom at the city courthouse in the 100 block of N. Calvert St. yesterday afternoon, then recalled leaving her purse behind. Returning to the restroom, Harris discovered that someone had stolen the purse, which contained cash and property valued at more than $200.

THEFT: Central District -- Police reported that someone entered the Catholic Center Building in the 300 block of Cathedral St. and stole two telephone answering machines, a phone and $30, for a total loss of nearly $300.

THEFT: Central District -- Deborah Leighton, an out-of-town resident, reported that while her car was parked in the 100 block of Peabody Mews, someone broke a rear window and stole cassette tapes valued at more than $100.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police reported that a couple walking in the 3400 block of Belair Road late Saturday evening were accosted by a man with a knife who demanded their property and money. Police said Lewis and Karen Lyon, of the 800 block of Glen Allen Drive, were robbed of more than $200 in cash and property.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police today continued seeking three men who robbed the White Tower restaurant in the 3100 block of Erdman Ave. At gunpoint, police said, the men forced an employee to empty the cash register and then robbed a patron, Kenneth Morton, of Delta, Pa., of his keys.

STABBING: Northeastern District -- Resinaid Morris, of the 1600 block of Carswell St., reported that during an argument with an acquaintance near his home, he was stabbed in the shoulder with a knife. Police said Morris was taken to a hospital for treatment and released, and the armed man was being sought.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Employees of Killmond's Korner Store in the 3500 block of Pelham Ave. reported that two men, one with a handgun, robbed the store of less than $200.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police said two men walking in the 4500 block of Loch Raven Blvd. were robbed of their cash and jewelry by a man with a handgun. Police said Chris Canterbury and Rodney Franks, both of the 2500 block of E. Cold Spring Lane, were forced to give up money and jewelry, all valued at nearly $900.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- James Platt and Charles Allen, both of the 1100 block of Matzgar Way in Armistead Gardens, reported that during an argument near their homes with two men they know, they were attacked and cut with a knife. Police said Platt and Allen were taken to a hospital for treatment and released. Police said the men who cut the victims were being sought.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested a teen-age boy and charged him as a juvenile with assaulting a 16-year-old girl in the 1700 block of Freedom Way. Police said the victim, a resident of the 4500 block of N. Freedom Way, was struck in the mouth by the youth, who then pulled a handgun and pointed it at her. After being charged, the teen-ager was released into the custody of his parents.
