Donald John Sulewski, president of his family's wholesale seafood company, died Saturday of a heart-related illness at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was 55.
A mass of Christian burial for Mr. Sulewski was being offered today at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church in Joppatowne.
Born in Dundalk, he graduated from Dundalk Senior High in 1955 and attended Dundalk Community College until he became a corporate officer for his family's business, the W.T. Freburger Co. In 1966, he was named president of the company, a wholesale seafood market in Jessup.
Mr. Sulewski was a member of the Joppatowne Lions Club, serving as its president from 1982 to 1983, and a member of Holy Spirit Church. He helped establish the Joppatowne Recreational Council's football program and coached the teams for many years.
