The 43-year-old Lebanese restauranteur suspected of killing his former wife's boyfriend at a Jessup motel June 22 turned himself in at county police headquarters Friday afternoon.
Police served Adel George Hagez, of the 2000 block Fon-Du-Lac in Richmond, Va., with a first-degree murder warrant in the shooting death of Riad S. Hijaz, 44, also of Richmond. He was being held without bail Friday at the Howard County Detention Center, pending a bond hearing in District Court.

Hagez's former wife, who was working at a Mediterranean restaurant booth at the Columbia City Fair earlier in the day, was not injured.
