Sunup Computer Rises

June 30, 1991

Librarians at Howard Community College have created a computerized database index of popular subjects reported in The Sun.

Sunup is a user-friendly computer program that individuals may employ to search for lists of Sun articles by topic, key words or a combination of both.

After locating articles, users may print lists. Lists cite the date the article appeared and the paper's section number, page and column numbers.

Individuals can use back issues or microfilmed issues to read the articles.

The Sunup computer is available free of charge to HCC students and community residents.
