Child Fatally Shot While Playing With Gun

An 11-year-old Deale boy died yesterday afternoon after being accidentally shot in the head by his older brother in their parents' home.

Police found the body of Daniel Raymond Foard on the floor of his parents' bedroom in their home on the 300 block of Bay Front Road.

The children's parents were at work when the shooting took place at 10:50 a.m. The boy died at about 3:10 p.m. at D.C. Children's Center.

Police say Daniel, his 13-year-old brother and their 11-year-old cousin found a rifle in the bedroom and started playing with it. The brother apparently pointed the rifle at Daniel and pulled the trigger, not knowing the gun was loaded.

No charges have been filed inthe incident.

GLEN BURNIE WOMAN THREATENED TWICE

Police were searching yesterday for a man who threatened a woman with rape Wednesday and then returned yesterday and threatened her again.

Police say the man threatened the 32-year-old Glen Burnie woman with a knife nearher home at about 2:45 a.m. and said he wanted to rape her. The man forced the woman to the rear of her apartment complex, where she punched him in the stomach and ran away.

At about 2:30 a.m. yesterday,the same man returned to the complex, threatened the woman again with a knife and told her not to move. But a neighbor thwarted the attack when he shouted from his window.

Police are looking for a white male in his late teens, with a small body build and sandy blond hair.He was wearing a dark cap on backward and had dark clothes. The knife is described as a small, old penknife.

COUPLE CHARGED WITH PCP POSSESSION

A Glen Burnie man and a Baltimore woman were charged with drug offenses Tuesday after their car was stopped on Margate Drive.

Police say an officer pulled over a 1982 Pontiac and found the driver to be under the influence of drugs. The man also was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Police say the officer could smell a mild odorof PCP coming from the car. A search turned up a plastic cup containing three bags of what is suspected to be PCP.

Authorities also say they recovered $621.

Joseph Anthony MacCubbin, 28, of the 100 block of Janelin Drive, Glen Burnie, was charged with possession with intent to distribute PCP and driving under the influence of drugs.

Denise Lynn Kinslow, 29, of the 3800 block of McDowell Lane, Baltimore, was charged with possession of PCP with intent to distribute.
