Two men are found dead in city

June 27, 1991

City police today were investigating two apparent homicides of men whose bodies were found in separate sections of Baltimore early today.

Neither victim was identified, information on the deaths was sketchy, and there were no known witnesses, police said.

Police said the body of a black male was found shortly before 6 a.m. on the ninth-floor stairwell of a building in the 1700 block of Albemarle St. He had been shot at least once in the chest.

At 5:20 a.m., police were alerted to the body of a white male found in Patterson Park off the 2300 block of Eastern Ave. He appeared to have been hit in the head, police said.
