A federal commission has recommended giving parents a $1,000 tax credit credit for each child as part of a plan to help protect America's youth from poverty and despair by strengthening families.

The commission has recommended a series of steps to ensure children have financial security, strong families and access to good health care and education.

We would like to know whether you would support such tax credits and whether you believe they could make a difference.
