ROBBERY TRY/SHOOTING: Southeastern District -- Police reported that a man who attempted to rob a liquor store last night was shot by an employee of the store. Police said two men entered Corcoran's liquor store in the 1800 block of Gough St. shortly after 9 p.m., and one of them was attempting to dismantle the security camera when the other began to pull a gun out of his waistband. Police said when an employee of the store saw what was happening, he pulled a handgun from under the counter and fired. Police said one of the men was hit and that both fled the store without taking any money. Area hospitals were alerted to watch for anyone seeking treatment of a bullet wound.

SHOOTING/ARRESTS: Southeastern District -- Police arrested three 17-year-old males and were holding them at the station pending charges in the shooting of two men during a confrontation between three youths and four others. Police said the incident occurred at 5:20 p.m. in the 1800 block of Dundalk Ave. They said that during an argument, one of the three juveniles pulled out a handgun and shot Shawn Jones, 21, of the 2100 block of W. Fayette St., in the hip. Another bullet grazed Gerald Brunson, of the 200 block of N. Mount St. Police said the gunman pointed the weapon at two other men, Lee Dukes, 27, of the 300 block of N. Fulton Ave., and Michael Allbrook, 23, of the 1700 block of Nome St. Police said Jones and Brunson were taken by ambulance to the Francis Scott Key Medical Center, where they were treated and released. Later, police found the suspects hiding not far from the shooting scene.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 2600 block of Orleans St. reported that someone broke into her home and stole a Smith & Wesson five-shot revolver valued at $400.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone broke into a dwelling in the 500 block of N. Chester St. through a second-floor window and stole a camera and microwave oven, all valued at nearly $500.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Police said a handgun was stolen from a dwelling in the 600 block of N. Collington Ave. after someone forced the front door. They said the weapon, a Smith & Wesson .38-caliber revolver with a 6-inch barrel, was valued at more than $600.

ROBBERY: Central District -- David Weyer, of the 12300 block of Boncrest Road, Reisterstown, reported he was in the 600 block of W. Saratoga St. when a man he knows robbed him at knife-point of cash and property valued at nearly $550.

BURGLARY: Central District -- Officials of the All Store Storage warehouse in the 200 block of E. Pleasant St. reported that someone entered the building with a key and stole more than $700 from a metal cabinet in an office.

BURGLARY/ARREST: Western District -- Police reported that someone broke out a section of screen and then broke a window to get into a dwelling in the 1400 block of Mosher St. and stole an alarm clock, telephone and a TV. Police arrested a suspect and were holding him at the station pending charges and a bail hearing before a District Court commissioner.

THEFT: Western District -- Delores McNeil, of the 2500 block of W. Fayette St., reported that someone entered her house and stole more than $200 from her purse, which was on a dining room table.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police reported that someone entered a house in the 2300 block of Lauretta Ave., dismantled and stole 40 to 50 feet of copper pipe in the basement.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Penny Maitland, of the 2700 block of Auchentoroly Terrace, said she was in the 2200 block of N. Fulton Ave. over the weekend when a man robbed her of $100 and her bank machine card.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Eric Horton, of the 1100 block of Sarah Ann St., told police he was attacked in the 1000 block of N. Fulton Ave. by a man who struck him several times with a table leg and robbed him of cash and jewelry, all valued at nearly $240. Police said Horton was injured but refused medical treatment by the crew of an ambulance.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Officials of the Hauswald bakery in the 2800 block of Edmondson Ave. reported that someone entered their property and stole 30 loaves of bread, valued at $40, from the rear loading dock.

ROBBERY: Western District -- James Rogers, of the 500 block of Robert St., reported he was in the 2100 block of Etting St. when he was attacked by three men, one armed with a piece of metal pipe, who robbed him of $20. Police said that during the robbery Rogers was struck with the pipe but not seriously injured.

BURGLARY: Western District -- A resident of the 1500 block of N. Monroe St. reported that someone broke into a house he owns in the 1900 block of N. Pulaski St. by forcing a rear door and stole a bike valued at $200.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Gregory Adams, of the 5100 block of Denview Way, reported that while his car was parked in the 5300 block of Sinclair Lane yesterday evening someone broke in through a window and stole hands tools valued at $30.
