A Mass of Christian burial for S. Reginald Watts, a retired assistant regional superintendent of schools in Baltimore, will be offered at 11 a.m. today at St. James Episcopal Church, Lafayette and Arlington avenues.
Mr. Watts, who was 78 and lived on Cedardale Road, died Friday after being injured in an automobile accident at Liberty Heights Avenue and Edgewood Road.
He retired in 1974 after starting in the city school system as an elementary school teacher 43 years earlier.
Born in Baltimore, he was a 1929 graduate of Douglass High School and a 1931 graduate of what is now Coppin State College. He earned a bachelor's degree at Morgan State University in 1941 and later earned a master's degree at New York University.
