The Wellness Community is looking for contributions for its "Tree ofHope" to raise $200,000 to open a facility in Anne Arundel County.

The mission of the non-profit organization is to help as many cancer patients as possible to recover to the greatest extent without letting money or insurance forms get in the way.

The Wellness Community provides a place where cancer patients canlearn to fight for their recovery on the psychological and social front along with their doctors and health care team.

Once opened, cancer patients can come to the Wellness Community for free support groups, lectures and presentations on stress management, nutrition, paincontrol, relaxation techniques and biofeedback as well as other subjects patients can use to fight their cancer.

If you are an individual who wishes to donate in the name of a loved one, community organization, civic club or corporation, contact the Wellness Community. All donations are tax-deductible.

The Wellness Community is looking for contributions of $1,000 or more to the center. Contributors' names will be placed on the Tree of Hope that will be hung in the center.
